Quick History

The restaurant is themed after a firehouse, so it’s not surprising that Firehouse Subs is created and founded by real firemen. The brothers Chris And Robin Sorensen founded the chain in 1997.

They come from a line of police and firemen and, for them, it was like they were destined to create something similar to Firehouse Subs.

In the beginning, the first Firehouse Subs location was opened in Jacksonville, Florida which is the place where the company is in operation currently.

In the space of a year, they began franchising their business, but the owners decided to rethink the idea immediately. They decided to purchase the franchised stores back and run only company-owned locations.

The company was founded in 2000 and pondered the possibility of franchising again, with the assistance of experts.

They put up financing for franchisees who were interested and the brand’s growth accelerated. From just 10 stores the company was able to add 40 more stores in 2002. The next year, their number grew to 100. They began expanding into other countries.

The company describes its growth as a “controlled burn”. It’s not overly fast, but it’s also not slow. The speed is just right, so they maintain a decent degree of control of their image.

About Firehouse Subs

Subs from the firehouse or firehouse sandwiches are huge in all ways that are important! They are massive in dimensions – firefighters are, after all, to eat a healthy diet to stay energized when they are on duty and also huge in taste, fillings, and enjoyable!

True-blue firehouse-inspired sandwiches have become a staple of American society! Firehouse Sub’s prices are competitive with other sub-sandwiches restaurants.

It’s not surprising that Firehouse of America, LLC d.b.a. Firehouse Subs, simply known as Firehouse Subs, has found its niche and is one of the most prominent players.

It’s hard to resist the temptation of large subs with all the usual – huge hoagie roll, fresh vegetables, and delicious meats!

While we’re on the subject of price, it’s crucial to examine the places Firehouse Subs’ prices are at to determine its price fluctuations.

It’s important to take into consideration that the chain is located in the category of fast-casual, so it’s not assumed that their prices are in the lower range.

Their prices have always been a bit more expensive than its competitors, particularly since there aren’t many fast-casual sandwich chains available. The biggest competitors are the top players such as Subway, Jimmy John, and Jersey Mike’s.

There are many who are willing to pay more for their hot tubs, however. A majority of people agree they think that Firehouse Subs’ prices are pretty affordable considering the quality of their food. Their wide selection of products is another reason why some customers are willing to pay more.
